How The Awards Work

The current awards is TWIA 2026 because we announce the National Winners in Jan 2026.

Enter the awards if you are a Wedding Supplier based in the UK. We have 28 categories with 10 Regional Events and 1 National Event. Entries are OPEN and close at 5pm on 22.09.25.

ENTER THE AWARDS

Nominate great suppliers who have not yet entered the Awards. Anyone can Nominate any wedding supplier HERE. We will then contact them, tell them you have Nominated them and encourage them to enter the Awards. Nomination  is simply a way in which anyone can tell us about great wedding suppliers who have not entered the Awards or might not even know about them. Nomination is not the same as voting and you don't have to be nominated to enter the Awards. Nominations close at 5pm on 22.09.25.

NOMINATE A SUPPLIER YOU KNOW

Vote for the suppliers that enter TWIA that you used for your wedding. Only the recent wedding clients of the supliers who have entered TWIA may vote for them. Voting is OPEN and closes at 5pm on 29.09.25.

IN BRIEF

• Wedding suppliers enter the awards in one of 28 categories and 11 regions covering the UK. Entry is simple, takes about 5 minutes and is done via this web site. There is a £120 (£100 + VAT) entry fee per entry (Learn more). Wedding suppliers in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales can now enter the awards in their own 'region' Learn More.

  ENTER THE AWARDS

• Entrants then create a FREE listing on the TWIA Directory that is visible via the 'Directory' section of the web site.
• Entrants then ask their wedding clients to vote for them. Only eligible wedding clients can vote for the suppliers they used for their weddings between 01.10.24 - 29.09.25. Our judging process allows wedding suppliers of all shapes and sizes to compete on a level playing field. It is NOT 'most votes wins' awards.
• Regional Awards. Regional shortlists are drawn up using voter data and judging panel input. Regional shortlists are then announced online.
• 10 regional awards events will take place in November 2025 at which we will announce the Regional Winner in each category.
• The Regional Winners then go through to the UK National Final.
• The UK National Winners are announced and presented at the national awards event in London in January 2026. That's why the current awards are TWIA 2026.

IN DETAIL

• Entrants are wedding suppliers across 28 categories (Photographers, Florists, Venues, Hair Stylists etc) in 11 geographical regions of the UK (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, North West (England), Yorkshire & North East (England), West Midlands (England), East Midlands (England), East of England, South West (England), South Central (England), South East (England)). Entry is simple, takes about 5 minutes and is done via this web site..
• Suppliers may enter more than one category where relevant (eg: Hair AND Make-up), making separate accounts for each. Suppliers may not enter the same category in multiple regions (eg: Photographer in South West AND South East). The region in which you enter is automatically determined by where your business is based (ie: your trading address).
• Suppliers enter the Awards by completing the online ENTRY PROCESS.
• There is a £120 (£100 + VAT) entry fee for each individual entry. (Why is there an entry fee?)
• All entrants who started their wedding businesses on or after 01.10.23 are automatically entered into the 'Best Newcomer' category, free of charge, once they have entered their main category. The Newcomer category cannot be entered on its own. Wedding suppliers must enter a main category first.
• All entrants then create their Judging Profile adding photos and video clips if they wish. This profile will then become visible to the judging panel once voting has closed and will be used throughout the judging process. This profile can be edited until voting closes.
• All entrants will also be able to create a Directory Profile on the TWIA Directory found in the 'Directory' section of the Awards web site. The basic listing is free but entrants may upgrade if they wish. This profile will be visible to tens of thousands of couples looking for the best suppliers for their weddings.
• Entrants then invite their wedding clients who got married between 01.10.24 - 29.09.25 to vote for them on the Awards website. Couples can only vote after their wedding has taken place and only an entrant's eligible wedding clients may vote. One vote per couple. Each entrant has their own specific voting page accessed via their Unique Voter URL. Entrants send their Unique Voting URL to all their eligible clients asking them to vote. All votes need to be in before Voting closes at 5pm on 29.09.25.
• Anyone can nominate any wedding suppliers who have not yet entered the awards. We will then contact all nominees by email inviting them to enter the awards. Nomination is simply a means of letting us know about great wedding suppliers who have not yet entered the Awards. Nominating someone is not the same as voting for them or entering them into the competition. Wedding suppliers don't have to be nominated in order to enter the Awards.
• Voters (wedding clients) may only vote for entrants that they used for their own weddings. Voters score the entrant out of 10 in 7 criteria giving a mark out of 70 and leave comments on the products and services received.
• TWIA is not simply about the total number of votes gained by each entrant. In order to create a level playing field we use each entrant's average voter score throughout the judging process (Total score divided by total number of voters = average score out of 70). This enables wedding suppliers of all shapes and sizes to compete on a level playing field. Click here for more info on this.
• Voters may vote for as many of their suppliers who have entered the awards as they want but they can only vote once for each supplier. If your suppliers haven't entered the awards then you can nominate them.
• Entries and nominations close at 5pm on 22.09.25.
• Voting closes at 5pm on 29.09.25.
• The regional shortlists are then created using the average voter scores of each entrant AND a limited number of judging panel 'wild cards'. Our process ensures that each entrant is examined by the panel during the competition. The regional shortlists/finalists will be announced on the Awards web site in early October 2025.
• The judging panel will then decide upon the regional winner for each category.
• The regional winners will be announced and presented at a series of 10 regional awards events in November 2025. Tickets to these events will go on sale as soon as the regional finalists announced in October.
• Each of the regional winners in each category will automatically become national finalists and announced as such on the Awards web site.
• All national finalists (regional winners) will then be examined again by the judging panel and a national winner selected for each category.
• The national winners in each category will be announced and presented at the national awards event in London in January 2026.
