Hi, my name is . I am a wedding photogtrapher and have shot nearly 1000 weddings since i started my business back in 2003. I still shoot weddings , though fewer these days (www.damianbailey.com).

Back in 2007 I entered a wedding awards and won Wedding Photographer of the Year. My business took off and I never looked back. Those awards disappeared after a couple of years becasue they were mainly there to promote another product. So great was my experience of being a finalist and winning that we decided to set up The Wedding Industry Awards and to run it for its own sake, in the right way and for the right reasons.

Throughout my wedding photography career, I have seen talented, dedicated people working hard to help couples create fantastic weddings. The differences between wedding suppliers is considerable but the price point and marketing is often very similar. Wedding businesses need credible and robust differentiation where there potential clients are new to the industry and market.

Now in it's 13th year, TWIA recognises and rewards excellence in the wedding industry and to helps couples all over the country find the best suppliers for their weddings.

Established in 2011, The Wedding Industry Awards ensure that there is a credible and reliable independent regional and national awards process and associated events. TWIA is the only client-voted regional and national awards in the wedding industry and our judging panel is second to none in its breadth and depth of expertise and experience, comprising over 130 industry experts. This means that the results have real meaning and are useful to both the entrants and anyone organising a wedding and looking for great wedding suppliers both regionally and nationwide.
