There are a number of new faces on The Wedding Industry Awards judging panel this year, all of whom we believe to be adding expertise, prestige and knowledge to the process of assessing each entry. We’re sure that you’re going to be just as excited to have these esteemed people looking at your business as we are to have them as part of the team. A lot of planning time here at TWIA HQ has been invested in courting these prestigious names because we believe them to be at the very forefront of their fields and, therefore, qualified to look objectively at entrants in TWIA 2015.

Editor, Wedding Cakes Magazine
Jenny Royle has over seven years of experience in the cakes and sugarcraft industry and is the editor of Cakes & Sugarcraft magazine as well as Wedding Cakes, the UK’s only quarterly magazine to feature hundreds of new and unseen wedding cakes from the world’s most talented cake makers. For 15 years, the magazine has championed the best of contemporary design, as well as being a go-to guide for wedding, cake decorating and sugarcraft tips and techniques from the best names in the industry. Wedding Cakes is an essential reference guide, featuring over 200 inspirational and creative designs in every issue as well as step-by-step cake decorating projects.
Tutor, Squires Kitchen International School
Helen discovered her passion for cake decorating while she was taking some time off from her career as a professional chef to raise her young family. With a background in fashion design and cooking, her creative instincts fuelled the conception of her successful wedding cake business, Bellissimo Cakes. Helen has been awarded many accolades for her beautiful cakes over the years. As well as regularly contributing to Wedding Cakes – A Design Source, Cakes & Sugarcraft, and Squires Kitchen Bake School magazines, her work is often featured in bridal publications and bridal blogs.
Award-winning cake maker
In 2007, after working for many years as a lecturer in Graphic Design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, Rosalind setting up Peggy’s Cupcakes and then naturally progressed into making wedding cakes, setting up Rosalind Miller Cakes in 2011, with the aim to make wedding cakes that were each their own individual work of art, and didn’t just replicate traditional cake decorating styles. Twice a national winner of TWIA Best Wedding Cake Designer category, Rosalind Miller Cakes Ltd is now the supplier of ‘Exclusive to Harrods’ cupcakes and wedding cakes, featuring a collection of signature cupcakes, tiered, and single tier cake designs. In 2013 Rosalind published her first book, ‘Wedding Cakes’.
