Event Attendance – we’d love you to come but you don’t have to…
At pretty much all other awards, if you don’t attend the awards event(s), you won’t win. NOT WITH TWIA!
Of course, we want all Finalists to attend, and whilst there are many benefits of attending our (award-winning!) events, we pride ourselves on the fact that if you are unable to or do not wish to attend any of our events, this will have absolutely no impact on your chances of winning.
At every event we run there are always some Finalists who are unable to attend but who go on to become Highly Commended or Win. In these cases, we announce their names as an HC or Winner, give them a huge ‘virtual hi-five’ and send them their trophy in the post asap after the event.
In TWIA 2024, across all eight Regional Events and the National Event about 10% of all Winners and Highly Commendeds were not present at the event for one reason or another.

- TWIA events are pretty much the only occasion where the incredible talent in our industry can gather to network, socialise and support each other.
- You’ll get all sorts of great photo and video opportunities which will make engaging content for your audience.
- There is no feeling like being in the room and hearing your business announced as a Highly Commended or Winner.
- Our events are exciting and fun. They don’t feature boring sit-down dining. Instead the focus is on friendly networking etc. Think of them as parties at which we hand out awards!
