Another New Judge Joins The 2013 Awards!

In the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards, we received hundreds of entries for the Best Wedding Venue category. Doubtlessly, a wedding venue can be the biggest cost in the wedding planning process and as your home for the duration of your wedding, it can really make or break the day. We love hearing about the venues that go above and beyond the call of duty to make their couples and guests feel entirely welcome and it’s no surprise that this is such a popular category.

In order to garner an insider perspective, we are delighted to welcome Venues Managing Director of Goodwood, Andrew Grahame, to the expert judging panel for The Wedding Industry Awards 2013. With over five venues under his jurisdiction and the responsibility for a multimillion pound turnover, it’s safe to say that Andrew knows a thing or two about managing an event at a prestigious venue!

Having joined the Goodwood group in 2008 as Hotel General Manager, Andrew has taken increasing responsibility for various other parts of the business, leading to his appointment as Venues Managing Director two years ago. Coordinating weddings at both Goodwood House and The Goodwood Hotel, as well as The Kennels and The Racecourse Pavilion, Andrew has a comprehensive view of what brides and grooms are looking for in a wedding venue and the type of qualities that make a venue a preferred supplier for other wedding industry professionals.
